Begin with the bag and connection specification
Provide the bag supplier specification, fitment drawing and intended fill quantity. Compatibility is established at the filling-head connection and handling sequence rather than from nominal bag volume alone.
The treated product connection and package operation should fit the same preservation design. A bag described as aseptic does not independently establish the condition of the product route feeding it.
Count the complete handling cycle
The pictured twin-position configuration includes separate filling positions and container-handling lanes. Useful output depends on placement, the fill operation, closure handling and removal of the filled container.
Include bag changes and normal interruptions in the production schedule. Matching only the pumping rate can overlook the time required by the rest of the filling operation.
| Selection point | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Package | Supplier specification, fitment and selected fill quantity |
| Handling | Container support and placement arrangement |
| Cycle | Filling plus bag changes and container removal |
| Product route | Thermal feed and protected connection requirements |
Connect the filler to the rest of the package
Send the product duty and thermal-circuit outlet information with the packaging specification. Controls and operating states should coordinate the product supply with filler availability.
For a replacement filler, identify the existing product connection and utilities. This makes the quotation boundary explicit and helps avoid an assumed complete line where only the packaging interface needs to change.
Questions in practice
Before connecting the equipment
Can any bag connect to the filling head?
Confirm the selected fitment and operating sequence with the equipment configuration. Nominal bag capacity is not a compatibility check.
